There is literally nothing deeper than the human arsenal, and yet its most valuable element remains that desire of growing on a consistent basis. We say this because the stated desire has already got us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology emerging as a major member of the group. The reason why technology enjoys such an esteemed stature among people is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which ushered us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look up close for a second, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstarted a tech revolution. Of course, this revolution then went on to scale up the human experience through some outright unique avenues, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow continue to produce the goods. The same has turned a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming a new insurtech partnership shakes out just like we envision, it will only make that trend bigger and better moving forward.

bolt, the insurtech with the country’s largest technology-enabled insurance exchange, has officially announced a partnership with Choice Home Warranty, popularly known as Choice, to scale up household coverage options for the wider public. According to certain reports, the partnership will allow bolt’s insurance exchange an uninterrupted access of Choice’s best-in-class home warranty service contracts that protect consumers from unnecessary expenses caused by the failure of major appliance and home systems. But what makes the stated partnership different from the rest? Well, it conceives a unique proposition through a link-up of Choice’s home warranty service contract and bolt’s best-in-class protection services, a link-up which then shows up as these convenient product bundles that extend protection to items not covered under your usual home insurance policy. This can mean anything from smartphone coverage to protection for other home systems that might be critical but still not included in a standard package.

Another detail worth a mention here is how, under the collaboration in question, insurance agents will have access to bolt’s integrated digital sales journey. Such an access should prove useful in generating customized product recommendations.

“We’re excited to partner with Choice because our agents are now able to combine Choice’s industry-leading home warranty solution with bolt’s world-class smartphone protection empowering customers with more relevant protection offerings,” said Clayton Bodnarek, EVP of Alternative Distribution at bolt. “Together, we will bring homeowners more choices through an integrated sales process and offer easy, time-saving coverage experiences.”

Founded in 2000, bolt uses, at present, the world’s largest exchange of insurtech products to serve almost two-thirds of US leading insurers.

As for Choice Home Warranty, it is also a leader in itself when it comes to providing home warranty service contracts to consumers in the context of major home systems and appliances that break down from normal wear and tear. The company does the stated job through a network which contains over 25,000 independent contractors. So far, Choice has reached nearly 2 million homes across the country, while simultaneously handling more than 6 million service requests.

“Choice’s technology-enabled home warranty service contracts perfectly complement bolt’s distribution ecosystem and world-class smartphone coverage,” said Jim Mostofi, CEO of Choice Home Warranty. “The partnership between bolt and Choice will allow distributors to provide comprehensive home and smartphone protection conveniently and efficiently while customers receive top quality service and peace of mind.”
